Our founder and President, received her J.D. from Boston University School of Law and her B.A. from Brandeis University. She practiced corporate and trial law for several years, perfecting her advocacy and negotiation skills. Ms. Weitz is the mother of two special needs children. She has experienced first-hand the overwhelming feelings of confusion and despair confronting parents when they first learn their child has a disability. She feels fortunate that her legal background and negotiating skills have led to success in her own children’s education experiences and changed her career path to use her background to help others navigate the tangled web of special needs legislation.
Ms. Wayne holds both an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Masters of Science in Administration from Boston University. She has experience working as an ABA Therapist with children of varying disabilities in multiple environments. Ms. Wayne has two sons, one with complex special needs. She has spent the past fourteen years working to ensure that her son receives an appropriate education as well as state funded in-home supports. She has assisted many people with attaining appropriate education supports, as well as DDS, DCF, DSS and Value Option services. She looks forward to helping many others for years to come.
